On June 12, Air India flight AI 981 Mumbai-Doha, Qatar, was delayed by 3 hours because of Cyclone Biparjoy. The flight was supposed to depart at 7:30 pm but it got delayed due to bad weather and finally left at 10:30 pm. This created quite a commotion at the Mumbai airport which anyway experiences high footfall on usual days
While the airport security officials were trying to manage the situation, the godwoman arrived in a shuttle cart at the airport. She was dressed in her typical red clothes paired with heavy gold jewellery and make-up.
She got down from the cart and requested the passengers to keep calm. As per the passengers, she even asked them to not blame Air India and rather pray to god. In a video posted by a fellow passenger, people can be seen shouting slogans against the airline. Radhe Maa tried to calm them and said, “Whatever happens is by the god’s will”
Radhe Maa, whose real name is Sukhvinder Kaur, has been often accused of hurting religious sentiments. Born in Punjab’s Gurdaspur, Radhe Maa dropped out of school after Class 4. She married Mohan Singh at 17 who later went abroad to work. Sukhvinder stayed back with her three children

Radhe Maa started delivering sermons or satsangs across Punjab, Delhi and Mumbai. Her followers started increasing. As per reports, she met Mumbai-based businessman Sanjeev Gupta who gave her a house, which was later converted into Radhe Maa Bhavan. Gupta is currently a managing trustee of Shri Radhe Guru Maa Charitable Trust
