Actor-turned-politician Ravi Kishan's daughter Ishita Shukla has joined the Indian defence forces under the Agnipath Scheme. She will be part of the Indian military for a tenure of four years including training for six months followed by 3.5 years of deployment
Ishita also participated in the Republic Day parade on January 26. She was part of 7 Girls Battalion of Delhi Directorate cadet. which paraded across the Kartavya Path earlier known as Rajpath
BJP MP Ravi Kishan had earlier tweeted, “My brave daughter Ishita Shukla has been working very hard for the past 3 years to serve our nation. She is a cadet of 7 Girls Battalion of Delhi Directorate, training in this bitter cold and fighting the fog for the Republic Day Parade at Kartavya path.”

Ravi Kishan’s daughter Ishita is dedicated to serve the Indian Army and she undergoes tough practice sessions. She recently shared a video to show the bruises she suffered during the training. She wrote, “Maybe life isn’t about avoiding the bruises… maybe it’s about collecting the scars to prove we showed up for it.”
