Renowned astrologer Acharya P Khurrana, father of Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurrana, has passed away after being hospitalised for two days for a heart-related treatment
Pandit Khurrana was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali, Punjab. His last rites will be performed at Manimajra cremation ground in Chandigarh at 5.30 pm today (May 19)
P. Khurrana is a famous Indian astrologer who used to appear in several astrology shows on television. He has authored more than 34 books related to astrology
Ayushmann Khurrana’s family released an official statement saying, “Our Dear father, P. Khurrana (Virendra Khurrana) the pillar of our life and the heartbeat of our family has left us for the heavenly abode.”
Pandit Khurrana is survived by his wife Poonam and sons Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurrana. While Ayushmann was last seen in An Action Hero, Aparshakti was seen in the OTT series Jubilee
P. Khurrana passed his legacy to Shilpa Dhar in July 2019. Though, he did not retire from his work

A number of people who used to consult astrologer P. Khurrana condoled his death. One of them wrote, “Sad to hear about the demise of dear uncle and great astrologer P. Khurrana. He has played a big part in helping a lot of us take important decisions in life.”
