BTS member Suga is all set to release his solo album titled D-DAY, as announced by the group's agency Big Hit Music
Big Hit Music said D-Day marks the final chapter of a trilogy by Suga’s other moniker, Agust D, succeeding the previous mixtapes, Agust D and D-2
Suga’s solo album will talk about the singer’s personal journey as Agust D, offering an intimate portrayal of his life as an artist. It will be released on April 21. The album’s pre-order began today and its pre-release track will drop on April 7
The 30-year-old singer, whose real name is Min Yoon-gi, will engage with fans through a variety of content, including Disney+ and Weverse documentary Suga: Road to D-Day
Suga will also be the first-ever BTS member to do a world tour. He will begin in the US with two concerts at the UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York, on April 26 and 27. Suga will then play in New Jersey, Illinois, and California before wrapping up his US tour in Oakland on May 16 and 17. The tour will then travel to Asia, stopping in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan
Just like other BTS members, Suga previously produced solo mixtapes including two under his alias Agust D. He has also dabbled into production for Gangnam Style fame-PSY and Jungkook
According to the Hanteo chart on March 31, BTS Jimin's solo debut album 'FACE' wrapped up its first-week sales with 1,454,223 copies sold, setting a new impressive record in the history of Korean soloists
Jimin, who appeared on Suga’s show Suchwita to promote his first solo album Face, said, “I'm all excited about 2025 because by then we would all have released singles or albums. So we could create an album, and talk about ourselves more.”
