OTT releases to watch this weekend include films and web series such as Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2, Tabu and Ali Fazal starrer Khufiya, docu-series Beckham and Insidious: The Red Door on Netflix, Mumbai Diaries S2 on Amazon Prime Video, Sunny Deol and Amesha Patel starrer Gadar 2, Lupin Season 3 and Loki Season 2 on Disney+ Hotstar.
Gadar 2 has finally been released on the OTT platform Zee5. In 2023, Anil Sharma took on the roles of both director and producer for the Hindi-language period action drama film Gadar 2. Serving as a sequel to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001), the movie stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Simrat Kaur and Utkarsh Sharma in key roles. The movie is based on the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971, where Tara Singh returns to Pakistan to bring his son back.
Mumbai Diaries Season 2 features the return of Mohit Raina and Konkona Sen Sharma as they reprise their roles as Dr Kaushik Oberoi and Dr Chitra Das respectively. This season has been set in 2009, with events reminiscent of the devastating 2005 Mumbai floods.

OMG 2 is set to release on Netflix on October 8. Directed by Amit Rai, OMG 2 is a comedy-drama film that addresses the issue of sex education in India. Starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam, the film is considered a spiritual sequel to the 2012 film OMG - Oh My God!
The Netflix docu-series on star footballer David Beckham's life and career comprises four episodes. Featuring interviews by his wife Victoria Becham, various former footballers, former manager of Manchester United Alex Ferguson among others, the episodes showcase different phases of Beckham's personal life and professional journey.
Lupin Season 3 is now George Kay is the creator of this French action-adventure mystery series, which revolves around the adventures of the gentleman thief Assane Diop. Diop characterises himself as a modern-day Arsène Lupin.
