Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Virat Kohli and Lucknow Super Giants mentor Gautam Gambhir got into a verbal spat after RCB beat LSG in a thrilling match
A coder named Ayush Thakur has developed a video game based on this recent scuffle between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir so that the two ‘could fight it out properly’. He shared a reel on the process of creating the game
Once you open the game link, you can choose the mode of play if you are on your mobile. The screen then allows the player to pick a side, where you can choose between Kohli and Gambhir
Once you pick a side, the game begins with the virtual avatars of Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir flexing and taking a fighter stance. The player can then use a bat to hit the other player
LSG and RCB team members can also be seen fighting in the background of the game while the main players fight it out
The game lacks a points-based system and is simply based on one player hitting the other. So if you have picked Kohli, you can keep hitting Gambhir till he falls to the ground. The respective team, in this case RCB, will be declared the winner
Twitter users seemed to enjoy the virtual take on Kohli, Gambhir’s spat during IPL 2023. A Twitter user wrote, “This is how cricket matches should be played from now on... Knockout in literal sense.”
Reacting to the game, a Twitter user wrote, “Only way Gambhir will find peace.”
Both Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were fined 100 percent of their match fees following their spat. Lucknow Super Giants pacer Naveen-ul-Haq was also fined 50% of his match fee
