One of India’s most wanted gangsters Deepak Boxer has been arrested in Mexico by a special team of Delhi Police and USA’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) . He was brought to India today morning
Deepak Boxer had fled the country with the help of a fake passport. This is the first time that Delhi Police has arrested a gangster outside India
Using a fake passport, Deepak took a flight to Mexico on January 29 from Kolkata under the alias Ravi Antil. Later, the police announced a reward of Rs 3 lakh on Deepak Boxer
On August 23, 2022, a known builder in Delhi, Amit Gupta was shot several times by an unknown group of assailants in broad daylight on the busy roads of North Delhi’s Burari. He was rushed to the hospital but died during the treatment
A few hours later, Deepak took the responsibility of this cold-blooded murder via a Facebook post. He claimed that the motive of Amit’s murder was not extortion but the rivalry
Deepak Boxer is associated with Delhi’s Gogi gang and his key rival is Tillu Tajpuria gang. Amit was murdered as he was allegedly one of the financiers of Tillu’s gang. Gogi had been shot down previously during a deadly cross-firing between two gangs inside a court in Rohini
Deepak had come into the limelight when he freed Gogi from police custody in Haryana seven years ago. He was also involved in attacking police personnel at Delhi's Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital two years ago and helped Fajja flee from police custody. Fajja, a wanted criminal, was killed on March 28, 2021 following an exchange of fire with a Special Cell team at a flat in the Rohini area
Deepak Pahal started out as a boxing player. He is also the winner of the national-boxing championship following which he was nicknamed Deepak Boxer. Soon after this though, he entered the world of crime and ended up murdering the builder
Deepak is currently under the custody of the Delhi Police. He will be interrogated in relation to builder Amit Gupta’s murder
