A Twitter user named Aarzoo shared a picture with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on a flight. Her post went viral as netizens were left wondering if the woman was connected to the FM in some way
However, Aarzoo, who is an SDE intern at Zomato, simply ended up sharing a flight with the minister coincidentally. She recorded a video with her and posted it on her Twitter account. She wrote, “What are the odds of boarding the same plane as the Finance minister, Nirmala ma’am. An inspiration for many, this really made my day,” and also tagged ‘Peak Bengaluru’

Aarzoo’s tweet talking about the ‘odds’ of boarding the same flight as the FM, received responses from many netizens. One of them wrote, “Well, assuming the FM takes 10 business/first class flights per month with 30 passengers per flight, the pool of potential passengers is reduced to 300. With 14.31 million monthly passengers, the odds of a person flying on the same plane as the FM is approx 1 in 47,700.”
Responding to Aarzoo’s post, another netizen commented, “Awesome! Lucky you.”
