Chandigarh-bred Sachin Bansal got a computer engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. In 2006, he joined Amazon.com in India, and quit it to set up Flipkart. As CEO, he oversees company strategy and works closely with business leaders on day-to-day operational matters. He is also in charge of Flipkart's corporate divisions, including finance, HR and legal. His enthusiasm for gaming notwithstanding, he likes to spend most of his free time with his family.
