Hyundai Motor India launched the new i20 Active, priced starting Rs 6.38 lakh and extending up to Rs 8.89 lakh. The company, which is eyeing a sales milestone of 5 lakh units from the Indian car market, plans to address lower-end car buyers with its latest launch.
The petrol version of Hyundai i20 Active is powered by a 1197 cc engine with 82 bhp @ 6000 RPM power. The diesel version, on the other hand, is powered by a 1396 cc engine with 89 bhp @ 4000 RPM power.
The spacious i20 Active, with enough room for 3 adults, comes with a 60:40 split seat that allows owners to roll back the seat according to their storage needs.
The multi-function steering wheel comes with audio and Bluetooth control to ensure you do not get distracted, while not missing out on important calls on the go. The i20 Active comes with an advanced 8-speaker audio system, too. Additionally, the glove box is upgraded with a cooling function for your beverages and confectionaries.
To enable a safe driving experience even at night, the car has fog lamps, aside from the hi-tech headlamp with LED lights, position lamps and cornering lamps. The car's large and protruding front skid plates add to its masular character.
The car's back is no less appealing with circular rear reflectors, 3-step wraparound tail lamps for optimal visibility and a micro roof radio antenna.
The car's sporty look comes from its 10 spoke silver Alloy wheels and finish roof rails. The outside door handle, which is chrome-plated, gives the car an up-market feel.
