FPIs raise stakes in 41% BSE 500 stocks during Q2 FY21

Foreign portfolio investors, or FPIs, have raised stakes in 203 companies of BSE 500 index between June and September quarters.

The top five stocks where FPIs increased their stakes the most, in the last two quarters, include Bandhan Bank, Amber Enterprises, Godrej Agrovet, Balkrishna Industries and Rajesh Exports.

Six stocks, namely EPL, Phoenix Mills, Suzlon Energy, J&K Bank, Indiamart and GMM Pfaudler, saw an increase in FPI holdings in the range of 5 to 10 percentage points, during the period.

Almost 11 per cent of the BSE 500 companies have seen an increase ranging between 100 and 500 basis points through June and September quarter.
