India's first case was reported on January 30 in Kerala. Maharashtra is now the worst affected state with most number of confirmed Covid-19 cases, followed by Tamil Nadu.
US has become the first country to exceed 1,00,000 confirmed coronavirus cases. The United States now has more than 5,00,000 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus. Cases in the US amount to 27% of the world's cases.
