Bharti Hexacom, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, has initiated its IPO valued at Rs 4,275 crore, which will remain open for subscription until April 5th. Established in 1995 as 'Hexacom India', the company evolved into 'Bharti Hexacom' after Bharti Airtel acquired a 70% stake in 2004. Bharti Airtel, the parent company, holds the majority stake, while the remaining shares are owned by Telecommunications Consultants India. The IPO comprises an offer-for-sale (OFS) by Telecommunications Consultants India, offering 7.5 crore equity shares. Notably, Bharti Hexacom will not receive proceeds from the issue. The IPO price band ranges from Rs 542 to Rs 570 per share, with investors able to bid for 26 shares in one lot. A significant portion of the IPO is allocated for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), with smaller allocations for non-institutional and retail investors. Bharti Hexacom primarily operates in the Rajasthan and North East telecom circles, offering mobile, fixed-line telephone, and broadband services.
