Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated his commitment to make India the world’s third-largest economy and said that his government will, in its third term, make the country a manufacturing hub of semiconductors. The PM was replying to Motion of Thanks on the President's address in the Lok Sabha. Amid the Opposition's uproar, Modi highlighted the achievements of his government in the past 10 years and also laid out the vision for the third term. He said that the government will build 30 mln houses under the housing scheme. "We have made India a manufacturing hub of mobile phones in last 10 years. Now, we will make the country a manufacturing hub of semiconductors. We will build 30 mln houses and make 30 mln women as Lakhpati Didis," the Prime Minister said. He also told the House that his government was committed to make India a hub of green hydrogen. The Prime Minister held that the future is about electric vehicles and green hydrogen.
