WHAT TO LOOK FOR: The government of Jharkhand has taken numerous steps to improve the overall investment climate of the state. Jharkhand is currently ranked third in the country by the World Bank in terms of "Ease of Doing Business". The Jharkhand government is now organising a "Global Investor Summit" at Ranchi in partnership with CII to showcase investment opportunities.

WHAT: 4TH International Fecal Sludge Management Conference (FSM4)

WHAT TO LOOK FOR: FSM4 is organised by the Government of India and supported by the Asian Development Bank. Its aim is to share and brainstorm potential solutions that will manage fecal sludge, preventing it from creating any harm to the environment, to formulate policy recommendations that promote best practices, and to identify lessons learned in how to make FSM an integral part of sanitation service delivery.
