The Range Rover SE Vogue 4.4 V8 was gifted to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for their own personal use by Land Rover's VIP Department. The Duke used it to pick-up newborn Prince George from the hospital. Prince William listed the car on Auto Trader for $192,450 and it was sold for $102,640 in a charity auction in 2016. The ex-showroom price was estimated to be around $59,018.

David Beckham's 2005 BMW 645Ci was listed for sale in 2014 for a whopping price of 75,000. The silver 2005 6-series convertible was loaded with leather seats and a television. It could also accelerate to 60 miles per hour in just 6.2 seconds.

Serious callers only.Famous for its hot pink paintwork and Swarovski-embellished clock, the TV personality first tried to sell the car for $128,350 but later got a handsome $89,900. Today, similar 2011 Vogue SE models are available for around $26,314-$28,000.

Steve JobsBMW Z8Sold for: $329,500 The late Apple co-founder's Titanium silver BMW Z8, which he had purchased in 2000 for $128,000, was sold for a handsome amount in 2017. At its New York Icons auction, Sotheby's sold the car for a whopping amount of $329,500.

Warren BuffettCadillac DTSSold for: $122,500 The Berkshire Hathaway boss had a customised 2006 Cadillac DTS for $41,000. In an online auction in February 2015, the car attracted a high bid of $122,500. That's $110,500 more than it would have been worth hadn't Buffett personally signed the dashboard in black marker. The proceeds from the sale was given away as donation to Girls Incorporated of Omaha, of which Buffett's first wife, Susan was a founder.

Sachin TendulkarFerrari 360 ModenaSold for: $171,492 The car was presented to the Master Blaster by racing legend Michael Schumacher on behalf of Fiat for equalling Don Bradman's record of 29 centuries. The Ferrari, worth $289,900, had got mired in a controversy in 2003 after it was reported that Tendulkar had requested for a customs duty waiver despite getting it as a gift and not winning it as a prize in a tournament. In August 2003, the finance ministry had exempted Tendulkar from paying around $245,000 towards import duty for the vehicle. The new owner, Jayesh Desai, chairman of Raj Hans Group bought the car for $171,492.

Bill Gates once said that he mostly drove borrowed cars until 1979, when he bought his first Porsche 911 with his Microsoft money. At that time, he was moving Microsoft from Albuquerque to Bellevue, Washington. According to his personal account, he got three speeding tickets - two from the same cop - while driving his Porsche up to Washington in the big move. Though Gates sold the car in 1990 for an undisclosed sum, the new owner sold it in 2012 and made a killing- it went for a cool $80,000. The iconic beige car was repainted in blue.

One of the best in the lot was a 1995 McLaren F1, which fetched a whopping $15.62 million at the Bonhams car auction in 2017. It's not known how much he paid for the car originally in 1996, but the suggested retail price was $970,000. The previous record price paid for a 1995 McLaren was $13,750,000.

This special edition Bentley was custom-made to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee. Used to transport the Queen to her first cabinet meeting with David Cameron, the Mulsanne was listed for 200,000, compared to 87,000 for non-royal models from that year. It was auctioned at the Goodwood Revival in September 2017, but it failed to reach its reserve.

The famed footballer owned this Bentley Continental GT Speed when he played in England, and it was listed for sale on Auto Trader in 2016 for $83,545. The car went under the hammer at the NEC Classic Motor Show in November 2016, where it sold for just $66,841. As per market standards, similar cars cost around $46,274.
