Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) This health insurance scheme started as  Ayushman Bharat Yojana but was renamed as PMJAY. It aims to achieve Universal Health Coverage. PM-JAY provides cover of Rs. 5 lakh per family per year, for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization. Over 10.74 crore poor and vulnerable entitled families (approximately 50 crore beneficiaries) are eligible for these benefits. The scheme was launched on Sep 23, 2018 and is touted to be the world's largest free healthcare scheme.

Jan Dhan YojanaPradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) was announced on August 15, 2014 by the PM. It is a National Mission on Financial Inclusion which has an integrated approach to bring about comprehensive financial inclusion and provide banking services to all households in the country. The scheme ensures access to a range of financial services like availability of basic savings bank account, access to need based credit, remittances facility, insurance and pension.The scheme was also recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records for 'Most bank accounts opened in one week', counting to 18,096,130.

Ujjwala Yojana schemePradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) aims at providing clean cooking fuel, LPG, to safeguard the health of women and children in rural houses. It was launched on May 1, 2016 in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. Over 80 million families have benefited from Ujjwala Yojana till date.

Swachh Bharat MissionThe programme launched on October 2, 2014 to put focus on sanitation and achieve universal sanitation coverage. It talks about improving the levels of cleanliness through solid and liquid waste management, making villages Open Defecation Free (ODF), clean and sanitised. More than 92 million toilets have been constructed, covering nearly 500 million households, since its launch.

InfrastructureThe country saw a steep rise in the establishment of roads, highways, metro networks and housing for poor under Narendra Modi's first phase of governance. An estimated 12 km of highways were constructed daily till 2013-14. However, this figure more than doubled to 27 km per day in 2017-18.

Insolvency and Bankruptcy CodeThe Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code was introduced by Arun Jaitley in parliament on Dec 21, 2015. He proposed a time limit for recovery and resolution for banks.It has been helping banks improve their balance sheets.

Good and Services TaxThere was a constant endeavour to introduce GST in the country since 2010 but it was finally implemented in July 2017. It is a comprehensive multistage indirect tax. It led to a single national market, common tax base and common tax laws for the Centre and States.

India's foreign policy under ModiThe prime minister has made it clear from the start that he wants the world to recognise India and give it the importance it deserves. India has been able to repair its relations with China, established ties with East and West Asia and cemented relations with the US. He appointed Subrahmanyam Jaishankar as minister of external affairs who played an important part in the resolution of the 2017 Doklam crisis between India and China.
