Muting videos before sharing to your contact listYou may soon be able mute videos on WhatsApp before sending to your contacts. The feature is likely to introduce speaker icon by the help of which you can mute the video before sharing. As per WABetaInfo report, this feature is currently under development.

Audio/ video calling via WhatsApp webSoon you will be able to do video/audio calling directly via WhatsApp web. Currently the feature is restricted only to mobile devices.  Some users, as reported by WABetaInfo, have even started receiving voice and video calling icons on their chat windows. You might also get to see the new update anytime soon.

Multi-device supportMost users have several devices but one WhatsApp account. WhatsApp is now reportedly trying to let users log in to the same account across devices. Not just this, the new feature  will allow audio/video calls to ring across devices of the user.

'Read later' featureThis will be an enhanced version of Archived chats. Soon users will be able to put chats on mute. Means, WhatsApp won't you of the selected chat unlike in Archived chats where WhatsApp sends notifications for new chat.

Insurance products on WhatsAppWhatsApp is set to roll out health insurance and micro-pension products on its platform in India. The company will do the same through tie-ups with licensed financial services players in India. The messaging app is set to partner with SBI General to launch a sachet-health insurance cover and HDFC Pension to offer National Pension Products.
