Most phone brands came out with their versions of 5G smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona. Here are the ones we can look forward to in the coming months

Huawei Mate X
Huawei's Mate X has been the centre of attention at the Mobile World Congress. The  phone is not just 5G enabled but is also foldable, the latest sought-after feature in smartphones which have been lacking in major innovation for some time.The Mate X sports a large 8-inch flexible plastic OLED display that can bend and close like a book.  It is powered by a Kirin 980 chipset and uses a Balong 5000 chip for 5G support. It will begin shipping by mid-2019.

LG V50 ThinQThe LG V50 ThinQ is LG's first device to support 5G thanks to the Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with the X50 modem. The ThinQ sports a 6.4-inch QHD+ OLED notched display, 4,000mAh battery, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. LG is yet to announce the price of the V50 ThinQ or the attachable secondary display.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G
Samsung's launch event for the Galaxy S10 phones preceded the Mobile Congress. At the Congress the brand showcased the Galaxy S10 5G. This version of the phone will work on the new super-fast networks and will be available in the second quarter of 2019.

OnePlus 5G
OnePlus has already confirmed that it plans to be one of the first companies to bring a 5G phone in India, and at MWC 2019, we saw a device properly covered from all sides that is seemingly the next OnePlus 5G smartphone. The prototype device showcased in Barcelona has a Snapdragon 855 chipset with the X50 modem. It is also expected at a competitive price.

Energizer Power Max P8100S
The Power Max P8100S, another foldable smartphone makes a surprise entry on this list.  The Power Max combines a 6-inch display with Full HD+ resolution on the outside and an 8.1-inch display with Full HD+ resolution on the inside of the Power Max P8100S. Energizer claims that it will repair or replace the P8100S if users face any hardware or software issues in the first three years.

ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5GAnother surprise entry to this list is the  ZTE Axon 10 Pro. It boasts a Snapdragon 855 chipset with the X50 5G modem. The Chinese company has also developed an antenna in the Axon 10 pro that improves the signal.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3The Mi Mix 3 5G is one of the more affordable 5G phones among the lot. Staying true to the company's "honest pricing" promise, the 5G-supported phone comes at a starting price of USD 599 (approx Rs 48,000). The Mi Mix 3 5G is one such phone that already has a normal non-5G version. The Mi Mix 3 was launched in the second half of 2018. The 5G versions, however, gets the Snapdragon 855 chipset with with X50 modem.
