Parminder Varma

Parminder Varma oversees the entire front-line team including the client segments; Sharekhan One, Super Investor, Super Trader and Retail; the Branch and Franchise Networks and the Sales team, as well as, the centrally located research, advisory and the sales support teams. She is responsible for identifying and implementing strategies to drive growth and enhance customer experience to secure Sharekhan’s position as a leading digital full-service retail broking and financial services firm.  Prior to joining Sharekhan, she was working as National Branch Banking Head - Emerging Markets at Kotak Mahindra Bank. She has more than three decades of rich management experience in the retail banking sector with industry leaders like HSBC and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Parminder has made strategic contributions in the areas of product development, digital transformation, market penetration and operational risk management. She also oversaw the post-merger period of the ING Vysya Bank network and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Currently, she is pursuing her doctorate in management.
