
Amtek Auto, the automobile parts maker, on Tuesday announced the acquisition of Germany-based Scholz Edelstahl GmbH through its wholly-owned Singapore-based subsidiary Amtek Precision Engineering.
The company did not disclose financial details of the proposed acquisition.
"The company has acquired German-based Scholz Edelstahl GmbH through its 100 per cent Singapore-based subsidiary Amtek Precision Engineering", Amtek Auto said in a Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) filing.
Scholz is hot die forgings manufacturer for auto and non-auto component industries.
In November 2014, Amtek Auto had acquired two Europe-based and one South East Asia-based auto as well as non-auto component makers through its Singapore-based wholly owned subsidiary.
