Bajaj Auto on Wednesday reported 2.96 per cent
increase in its standalone net profit for the third quarter ended December 31 at Rs 818.74 crore.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 795.19 crore in the corresponding quarter in last financial year.
The
standalone net sales during the period under review stood at Rs 5,307.20 crore, against Rs 4,839.95 crore in the year-ago period, up 9.65 per cent, the company said in a statement.
Total volume sales stood at 11,27,741 units during the quarter as against 10,75,441 units in the same quarter last financial year, up 4.86 per cent.
Shares of the company were trading 1.70 per cent down at Rs 2,079.30 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange during afternoon trade.
