
Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover has launched its latest SUV, the seven-seater 'Discovery Sport', in four variants with a starting price of Rs 46.1 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
"The Discovery Sport, an exceptional combination of technology, design, off-road and on-road capability, charts a new territory which will be tough for its peers to enter into," Rohit Suri, president of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India, said in a statement.
The company said the new vehicle was equipped with 2.2 litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engines, available in 140 kW SD4 and 110 kW TD4 derivatives.
It features high-quality materials and a strong vertical center console graphic to reflect the premium design of the exterior.
"The new SUV is rolled out from the company's Pune facility. The upper-end commands a price of Rs 62.18 lakh. All the four models come with a 2.2 litre diesel engine", Suri added.
