Mahindra launches diesel min van at Rs 3.7 lakh

Mahindra has launched a new mini van, Maxximo Mini Van VX , priced between Rs 3.7 lakh and Rs 3.8 lakh.

Mahindra's new min van, an eight-seater passenger carrier, is powered by a two-cylinder 909 cc diesel engine. The new mini van is available in both BSIII and BSIV compliant options. Mahindra's mini van will compete with Maruti's Omni and Ecco and Tata Motor's Tata Magic and Tata Magic Iris.

The minivan has been launched in Gujarat and will be rolled out across the country gradually.

The Maxximo series already has a semi-hard top variant targeted at the stage carrier market. Maxximo Mini Van VX comes with a hard top and sliding doors and would cater to the low-end contract carriers.
