Maruti Suzuki India on Tuesday said it is roping in psychologists and psychiatrists for counselling its employees, who were injured in the July 18 violence at the Manesar plant.
The company also said with the culprits still at large, it continued to be concerned about the safety and security of its people and hence was not in a position to take a decision on resuming operations at the
Manesar plan t.
"Taking an important step initiative towards employee rehabilitation, Maruti Suzuki is roping in India's leading psychologists and psychiatrists for counselling its injured employees," the company said in a statement.
It, however, did not disclose who the psychologists and psychiatrists were.
"The counselling sessions kicks off this week," it added.
MSI said the employees team set up last week was assessing individual needs with the help of 'specialists on board' to conduct individual or group slash therapy sessions for the injured.
