Renault launches crossover MPV Lodgy Premium for Rs 11.99 lakh

Renault India forayed into the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) segment with the launch of the Lodgy Premium Stepway Edition on Tuesday. The car, which is a crossover MPV, will be available in two variants-Lodgy RxZ 110Ps 8 seater and Lodgy RxZ 110Ps 7 seater-at an introductory pricing of Rs 11.99 Lakh and 12.29 respectively (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

The vehicle is powered by a 1.5 litre K9K dCi (common rail direct injection) engine and is capable of delivering 110PS of power and peak torque of 245Nm at 1,750 rpm. The engine is a first-in-segment 6-speed manual transmission with fuel efficiency of 19.98 kmpl, according to the company.

It is loaded with brake assist, driver and passenger airbags, rear wiper and defogger, rear parking sensor, rear view camera, central locking, power steering, power windows, rear AC for 2nd & 3rd row occupants, electrically adjustable mirrors, MediaNav entertainment and navigation system with speakers, audio and phone controls, cruise control and speed limiter.

It is equipped with Ergo-Drive technology, which means the car is conditioned to offer superior acceleration and power, ease of ride and handling along with great mileage . The Lodgy Premium Stepway Edition also comes with a speed-sensitive volume control which automatically adjusts the sound of the music system depending on the speed of the car. The car also offers rear parking sensors and a rear view camera with guidelines.

The car will be available across all Renault dealerships in India from Tuesday.
