
Tata Motors owned Jaguar Land Rover on Thursday launched a special edition of sports utility vehicle (SUV) Land Rover Freelander 2 priced at Rs 44.41 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
This new edition is powered by a 2.2 litre diesel engine and will be available only in limited numbers, the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the launch, Jaguar Land Rover India Vice President Rohit Suri said, "It will further endear the hugely popular model to our young and sophisticated customers looking to own an exclusive Land Rover with enhanced sporty looks."
The Freelander 2 Sterling Edition is equipped with sporty exterior features such as 17 inch five-split spoke alloy wheels, lower door claddings and a single tail pipe with bright finish among other features.
