Tata Motors launches compact car Bolt, price starting Rs 4.4 lakh

Tata Motors, the home-grown carmaker, on Thursday launched its compact car Bolt with prices starting Rs 4.4 lakh.

Tata Motor's Passenger Vehicle Head Mayank Pareek told CNBC TV18 that the company had already recieved over 50,000 bookings for the car so far.

Pareek had told PTI in December that Bolt would ensure the company's re-entry into the hatchback segment.
