Automobile giant Tata Motors on Thursday reported an
increase of 44 per cent in its domestic sales for November at 72,474 units from 50,419 units it sold in the same period last year.
The company's total sales including exports in the month under review rose by 41 per cent at 76,823 units over November 2010.
Its exports grew marginally by 3 per cent at 4,349 units from 4,203 units shipped-out in November 2010.
Tata Motors launches revamped Nano Segment-wise commercial vehicles sales in the domestic market grew by 28 per cent at 44,737 units from 35,079 units sold in November last year.
"Light commercial vehicle sales were 28,673 numbers... a growth of 41 per cent compared to 20,376 vehicles sold in November, last year. Medium and heavy commercial vehicle's sales stood at 16,064 numbers, a growth of 9 per cent, compared to 14,703 vehicles sold in November, last year."
Tata Motors launches Manza, Prima in Africa Sales of Tata Motors' passenger vehicles and distribution offtake of Fiat cars rose by 76 per cent at 28,774 units from 16,363 nos.
The sales of Tata passenger vehicles in the month under review zoomed by 81 per cent at 27,737 units over 15,340 units sold in November, 2010.

Sales of Indica range of cars jumped 91 per cent at 10,926 units from 5,716 units, while sales of the other passenger car range Indigo grew marginally by three per cent at 6,213 units.
The November sales of the company's sports and utility vehicles range, which includes Sumo, Safari, Aria and Venture, were up 35 per cent at 4,197 units.
The company further said that sales of its Jaguar Land Rover brand in India "continued their upward trend".
The cumulative sales of the company, including exports, for the fiscal increased by nine per cent at 544,492 units over 499,510 units sold last year.
