Two- and three-wheeler maker TVS Motor Company
closed May with sale of 176,012 units, down from 185,930 units sold during May 2011.
In a statement issued on Friday, the company said its cumulative sales for the period April 2012 to May 2012 stood at 350,467 units, against 353,674 units recorded in the previous comparable period.
Last month,
TVS Motor sold 173,092 two-wheelers and 2,920 three-wheelers as against 181,891 two-wheelers and 4,039 three-wheelers sold during May 2011.
