AUMs of mutual funds increase 10.7% YoY in November

Assets Under Management (AUMs) of the Indian mutual fund industry increased by 10.7 per cent YoY in November 2020. On a month-on-month basis it rose 6.4 per cent to Rs 30 lakh crore.
Debt schemes accounted for the largest share of AUMs at 50.4 per cent. Out of Rs 15.1 lakh crore debt funds asset, liquid funds continue to have largest share at 25 per cent, followed by short-duration fund.
Equity schemes saw continuous net outflow for fifth consecutive month at Rs 12,917 crore in November 2020. Out of net assets of Rs 8.9 lakh crore in equity MFs, the largest share continues to be of large cap and multi cap funds at 19 per cent each, followed by ELSS with 13 per cent.
Debt schemes accounted for largest share of AUMs at 50.4 per cent, followed by equity schemes with 29.6 per cent and hybrid schemes with 10.3 per cent. AUM under hybrid schemes was Rs 3.1 lakh crore.
In debt category, liquid funds have largest share at 25 per cent, followed by short duration fund, corporate bond fund and low duration fund with a share of 10 per cent each.
In equity mutual funds, largest share continues to be of large cap and multi cap funds with a share of 19 per cent each, followed by ELSS with 13 per cent share.
