Auto sector recovery stalls; PV sales decline 10% in April

Factory dispatches of two-wheelers declined by 33.5% in April 2021 on month-on-month (M-o-M) basis.  

Three-wheelers' sales volume continued to stay low.It declined by 57% in April 2021.

Factory dispatches of passenger vehicles in April 2021 declined by 10% as compared to March 2021.  

M&HCV refers to data for Tata Motors and Ashok Leyland. Domestic wholesales of medium heavy commercial vehicles declined by 57.4% on M-o-M basis in April, 2021.

LCV refers to data for Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland and Maruti Suzuki India. Domestic wholesales of low commercial vehicles declined by 58% on M-o-M basis in April 2021.
