Modi govt to get second term: IndiaToday-AxisMyIndia survey

As per India Today-Axis My India Exit Poll, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA will win around 339-365 seats, while the Congress party will be reduced to 77-108 seats. The sample size for IndiaToday-AxisMyIndia post-poll survey is close to over 8 lakh respondents, which is 20 times bigger than the 2014 exit polls and bigger than any other survey.

Uttar Pradesh
The BJP is set to dominate Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha election once again winning up to 68 out of 80 seats, according to the India Today-My Axis India Exit Poll. The UP results means the BJP, along with allies, will be in a formidable position to form the government at the Centre.
In 2014 the Lok Sabha elections Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party got 22.2 per cent votes, while Mayawati's BSP won 19.6 per cent votes. The BJP, however, got 42.3 per cent votes.

Maharashtra
The BJP-Shiv Sena alliance in Maharashtra is set to win between 38 to 42 seats in Maharashtra, according to India Today-Axis My India Exit Poll. Maharashtra gives the second highest number of MPs to the Lok Sabha after Uttar Pradesh's 80 and BJP-Shiv Sena is looking to carry on from where it left in 2014. The Congress and the NCP are likely to win between 6 to 10 seats.

West Bengal
West Bengal, always an unlikely destination for the BJP, has been under the influence of TMC in the recent past, and the CPI(M) before that.
In an unexpected turn of events, the Bharatiya Janata Party could secure 19-23 Lok Sabha seats out of 42 in West Bengal, the India Today-Axis My India exit poll results showed. The regional parties and others, which include the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC), are likely to get 19 to 22 seats in the state, the exit poll said. Indian National Congress might have to be content with just one seat or none at all, as per the exit poll.

Bihar
The ruling BJP-Janata Dal (United) alliance was in direct fight against RJD-Congress led Grand Alliance. Under the seat-sharing formula, the BJP and the JD(U) were contesting on 17 seats each and the LJP on six seats.
The BJP-JDU alliance is set to sweep the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar winning minimum 38 out of the 40 seats, according to the India Today-My Axis India Exit Poll. The RJD-Congress led 'Mahagathbandhan' may only bag maximum 2 seats, as per the exit polls. The possible result in Bihar could put the BJP-led NDA in a strong position to form the government at the centre.

Tamil Nadu
In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, AIADMK had bagged 37 seats with a vote share of 44.9 per cent, defying all pre-poll predictions. In 2019, exit polls predict the DMK to make strong comeback sweeping up to 38 seats. The fortunes of the party seem to have reversed under MK Stalin, who took over after his father, Karunanidhi's death, and he seems to be delivering.

Madhya Pradesh
The voters of Madhya Pradesh have returned to the camp of National Democratic Alliance as per the results of the India Today-My Axis India Exit Poll.
The voters in MP are likely to elect NDA leaders in 26 to 28 Lok Sabha seats, the exit poll results showed.
As per India Today-My Axis India Exit Poll 2019, Congress led UPA may only get 1 to 3 seats. The voter share is estimated to be 57 per cent for NDA, 33 per cent for UPA while others mar get up to 10 per cent of votes in MP.

Karnataka
The BJP is predicted to be winning 21-25 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka with 49 per cent votes in the state where the party missed majority in the assembly polls. The Congress in Karnataka is trailing the BJP by six per cent votes at 43 per cent. The others are expected to get one seat with 8 per cent vote share.

Gujarat
BJP is set to make a complete sweep in the Gujarat Lok Sabha elections possibly winning all 26 seats, according to the India Today-My Axis India Exit Poll. The Congress, if it opens its account, will win 1 seat maximum, according to the exit poll.
Electorate across all 26 parliamentary seats in the state voted on April 23 in the third phase of 2019 Lok Sabha elections. BJP and Congress had fielded candidates on all 26 seats of Gujarat. BJP president Amit Shah himself is contesting from the crucial Gandhinagar seat, after replacing senior leader LK Advani.

Andhra Pradesh
YSR Congress Party of YS Jaganmohan Reddy is likely to dominate the Lok Sabha election with 18-20 seats, according to India Today-Axis My India Exit Poll. There is a three-pronged in contest in Andhra Pradesh between N Chandrababu led-TDP, YSR Congress Party of YS Jaganmohan Reddy and movie star Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena. Naidu's TDP is likely to win between 4 to 6 seats, according to the India Today-Axis My India Exit Poll. The national parties, the Congress and the BJP, are just minor players in the State.

Rajasthan
The BJP could win 23-25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan. The BJP had won all 25 seats in 2014. The Congress, which is ruling in Rajasthan, is expected to win 0-2 Lok Sabha seats.
In terms of vote share, BJP and its allies are expected to get 54 per cent votes, Congress+ is likely to 36 per cent, while others may get 10 per cent votes in the final tally.

Odisha
The Bharatiya Janata Party is set to win anywhere between 15 and 19 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha, the India Today-Axis My India exit poll results showed. The regional parties and others, which includes the Naveen Patnaik-led Biju Janata Dal (BJD), will get only 2-6 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha election, the exit poll predicted. Congress will get one seat at most, the poll prediction showed.

Kerala
The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) is likely to win up to 15 out of 20 seats in Kerala, according to India Today-Axis My India Exit Poll. Left and Democratic Front (LDF) is expected to win around 3-4 seats and PM Narendra Modi's Bhartiya Janata Party may left with only one seat.
Apart from Rahul Gandhi, two-time sitting MP Shashi Tharoor and Union Minister Alphons Kannamthanam are the key candidates to watch out

Telangana
In Telangana, the exit poll predicts the BJP to get 1-3 seats. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), which is ruling Telangana, is likely to get 10-12 seats with the Congress likely to grab 1-3 seats.

Assam
Out of the 14 seats in Assam, the BJP is predicted to win 10 seats, while others are winning on three seats, says India Today-Axis My India Exit Poll. As per the exit poll Congress will not get any seat in Assam.
