IndiGo Parent Ties Up With U.S. Company To Start Air Taxi Services In India

The jam-packed Indian metro cities of Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru could soon get an incredibly fast mode of transport with InterGlobe Enterprises tying up with U.S.-based Archer Aviation. The two will launch an all-electric air taxi service in India in 2026 that the companies claim will be “cost-competitive" with on-road taxi services. Interglobe is the parent company of IndiGo, India’s largest airline.
