Mahindra’s 3 SUVs – Roxx, XUV 3XO & 400EV Get 5-Star Bharat-NCAP Ratings

The Mahindra Thar Roxx, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Mahindra XUV400EV have scored a 5-star safety rating in Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (Bharat NCAP) crash tests. Mahindra & Mahindra is presently the largest SUV manufacturer in India in terms of volume. All the three SUVs received 5 stars for both adult occupant protection (AOP) and child occupant protection (COP). The Thar Roxx earned 31.09 points out of 32 in AOP and 45 points out of 49 in COP. This is the highest overall score by any internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle at Bharat NCAP. Also, the Thar Roxx is the first body-on-frame SUV to secure a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. The XUV 3XO scored 29.36 points in AOP and 43 points in COP, while the XUV400 achieved 30.38 points in AOP and 43 points in COP. AOP has a maximum of 32 points and COP of 49 points.
