Future Of Contactless Air Travel

Digi Yatra, the cutting-edge travel facilitator, is poised for significant expansion, set to be available at 25 additional airports in 2024. The phased introduction will kick off with 14 airports in the first wave, followed by an additional 11 in the subsequent phase—all slated for the upcoming year. Currently operational at 13 airports, Digi Yatra offers contactless travel through facial recognition, ensuring a seamless and secure experience. Launched on December 1, 2022, at key airports like New Delhi, Varanasi, and Bengaluru, it has rapidly garnered momentum, with plans to reach 38 airports by 2024, covering a remarkable 96 per cent of domestic air traffic.
