In the third quarter of the fiscal year 2024, Tata Power Company Ltd saw a modest increase of 2.28% in its consolidated net profit compared to the same period last year. The company reported a net profit of Rs 1,076.12 crore in December 2023, up from Rs 1,052.14 crore in the previous year. Revenue from operations also witnessed a growth of 3.69% year-on-year, reaching Rs 14,651 crore in Q3 FY24. However, expenses increased proportionately to Rs 14,254.11 crore from Rs 13,745.89 crore in Q3 FY23. Notably, the company's EBITDA for the quarter surged by 15% YoY to Rs 3,250 crore. Tata Power's commitment to renewable energy was underscored by its facilitation of over Rs 3,500 crore in customer financing for solar projects and its ongoing development of a green energy transmission corridor.
