Bajaj Housing Finance's recent issue made history, being oversubscribed 63.61 times with bids totaling ₹3.24 lakh crore. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) segment was the most in-demand, oversubscribed 209.36 times, attracting ₹2.60 lakh crore in bids. Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) saw a 41.51x subscription, while the retail and shareholders' portions were booked 7.04 and 17.53 times, respectively. In terms of allotment odds, big HNIs have a 2 in 17 chance of receiving 2,996 shares, while small HNIs have a 2 in 55 chance. Retail investors have the highest probability, with 1 in 5 expected to receive 214 shares. Shareholders who applied for 13 lots have a 13 in 18 chance of getting 214 shares. However, those applying for fewer lots in the shareholder category face lower chances of receiving an allotment, according to Anand Rathi Shares & Stock Brokers.
