FY25 Budget To Set Roadmap For Viksit Bharat By 2047, Says PM Narendra Modi

The Union Budget for 2024-25 will lay out the roadmap for the next five years for the country and will also set the path to reach the goal of making India a developed economy by 2047, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said. "This session of Parliament will set foundation for people's aspirations," PM Modi said while addressing media ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, which begins today. "The Budget will be based on tenets of promises I have made to the people of India," he said. Modi said the government will work for women, farmers, youth, and the poor of the country for the next five years.
