After Rashmika Mandanna's Deep Fake Video, Katrina Kaif's Morphed Images Goes Viral

Just a few days ago Indian web and social media users came across a video of actor Rashmika Mandanna entering an elevator. The video was fake and created using Deepfake, a technology that allows scammers and cyber criminals to modify an image or video using machine learning and artificial intelligence. Now, just days later, an edited image of Katrina Kaif is doing rounds. The image, which is originally a screen-grab from upcoming Tiger 3 movie, has been modified. In the original image, which Katrina Kaif posted on her Instagram, she is doing an action sequence for Tiger 3 wearing a towel. But in the morphed image, the actor is shown in the same pose but with a different and altered outfit, which makes the image vulgar. Though hours later the modified and fake image was deleted from social media.
