Agniveer Akshay's Father Refutes Rahul Gandhi's Claims; Says Got 1.10 Cr Compensation For His Son

During a parliamentary debate, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi alleged that an Agniveer was martyred in a landmine blast but is not recognized as a martyr by the Indian government. He claimed the family would not receive pension or compensation and that Agniveers are not considered Jawans. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh countered these allegations, urging the opposition not to mislead the house, emphasizing that extensive consultations were held with 158 organizations before implementing the Agniveer scheme. Singh requested Gandhi's eviction from the proceedings for misinformation.
