Akasa Air has denied shutdown rumors and financial concerns, emphasizing their confidence in future growth despite a shortage of cockpit crew. They currently employ around 450 pilots and plan to hire more soon. According to a company spokesperson speaking to BT TV, their 16 destinations are operational as per the plan. The airline has secured International scheduled operator status and aims to launch international flights in the Middle East by December, pending traffic rights and approvals.
