
Today, Boeing emphasized the significant progress made in localizing the production and maintenance of its P-8I maritime surveillance aircraft. They also provided insights into the future prospects of this platform, signalling increased investments and economic contributions in alignment with their Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) strategy. Currently, the Indian Navy already operates twelve P-8Is, meeting their reconnaissance and surveillance requirements in the Indo-Pacific region.
