Budget 2024 To Be “Historic & Futuristic”, Will Push Reforms, Says President Murmu

Budget 2024 will be “historic and futuristic” and will push reforms. In her address to a joint session of the newly constituted Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, President Droupadi Murmu said the new government at the centre is all set to pursue economic reforms at a much faster pace. The President listed the three economic pillars of “reform, perform and transform” on which the new economic policies of the government will rest and which will lay the foundation of the Indian economy to grow and become the third largest world economy in the next few years. President Murmu added that the centre will foster healthy competition among states to push its economic agenda.
