Dawood Ibrahim's Ancestral Property With Reserve Price Of ₹15,440 Fetches ₹2 Crore In Auction

Proscribed terrorist Dawood Ibrahim's ancestral plot, with a reserve price of ₹15,440 was auctioned at a price of ₹2 crore on January 5. This was the smallest plot of the four properties of the fugitive underworld don which was auctioned by the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Authority (SAFEMA). The said properties are agricultural plots in Mumbke village in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri district, which is the ancestral village of Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar. Another property whose price was set at ₹1.56 lakh was sold for ₹3.28 lakh.
