Elon Musk Sued By Ex-Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal Among Others For $128 Million Over Severance

Four former Twitter executives, including former CEO Parag Agrawal, have filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk for over $128 million in combined unpaid severance. The lawsuit, filed on Monday in a San Francisco federal court, is the latest in a series of legal challenges the billionaire faces after acquiring the social media company for $44 billion in October 2022 and renaming it X. Meanwhile, in a double blow, Musk is no longer the world’s richest person. His net worth tumbled $17.6 bn overnight after the Tesla stock lost more than 7% of its value. The EV maker’s stock tumbled on Monday after it announced price cuts in China as well as a 16% sales drop in China in February.
