Days after disaster struck a century-old suspension bridge in Gujarat's Morbi town, several lapses that led to the tragic death of 135 people have come to the fore. The police made shocking revelations in a local court where they argued for remand of the 9 suspects arrested in the case on Tuesday. The prosecution claims the cables of the bridge were not replaced when the repairs were carried out. Oreva only replaced the bridge's flooring with much heavier aluminium sheets. Watch.
