In a huge leap towards modernisation of the Indian Air Force, the HAL has developed India’s first homemade supersonic fighter trainer to prepare air warriors for the Fifth Generation aircraft. The image of Lord Hanuman on the aircraft tail establishes a link to HLFT-24 – the Marut, the first indigenous trainer aircraft built by HAL in 1961.
