IAF’s 'Make In India' Commitment: Air Chief Marshal Highlights MSME And Startup Collaboration

 

On the 92nd anniversary of the Indian Air Force (IAF), Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh highlighted the significant strides made in strengthening the IAF's operational capabilities, professionalism, and readiness for modern warfare. He paid tribute to past and present air warriors, especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation. Reflecting on the achievements of the past year, he emphasized the need for continued introspection to meet evolving challenges. Air Chief Marshal Singh stressed the importance of adopting new technologies and innovative thinking to maintain a strong and capable air force in today’s multi-domain environment. He underscored the IAF’s commitment to the 'Make in India' initiative by engaging with MSMEs, startups, and innovators. The IAF showcased its capabilities in exercises like 'Vayu Shakti' and 'Gagan Shakti' and expanded its international cooperation through bilateral and multilateral exercises, including 'Tarang Shakti,' with participation from over 13 nations. He also highlighted the IAF’s role in humanitarian missions, both within India and abroad.
