IDBI Bank Divestment Deadline For Prelim Bids Extended To Jan 7 From Dec 16

The government has extended the deadline to submit preliminary bids for the IDBI Bank privatisation till the 7th of January. The government and LIC together are looking to sell 60.72 percent of IDBI Bank and had invited bids from potential buyers in October. The last date for submitting an Expression of Interest was December 16. BTTV Special Correspondent brings in her report.
